Another sleepless night... So what do I do? I read blogs (since I don't have a TV). But jumping over to a article on Blog Security, I read that that have "AntiVirus Protection".

With 'anti-virus' protection coming to everything, from your phone to probably eventually your gaming console, I wonder just how relevant it is? First, the name seems just wrong (are they really viruses?), and with WordPress, they most likely have protection on their servers (or where ever it is hosted).
I don't get this thought of 'needing' protection on every god damn digital item that we have. The basic principle is simple, don't install anything that you don't trust. If some 1337 h4x0r can comment with some malicious code, then why the fuck are you using WordPress if it is so unsafe?
With most popular virus scanners out there doing just as much bad damage as spyware... sigh... I don't know...
If you need "antivirus" software for your 'blog', that is just a sad new level of paranoia...
i'm going to bed. /rant
