I remember seeing this video all the time on tv, even in the later 90s, and always thought it was funny that the commercial looked so outdated.

Last time I went there I was probably 10 or so, and I think one of the greatest issues was the amount of time it took to get there. I remember asking my mom to go (back) there and getting there realizing there wasn't really much there. I guess that mixed with the long drive was just exhausting.

Now jumping back further in memories, I distantly remember going there sometime in the 80s, and got to participate in getting a random gift from Santa. It was basically you go and pick a random gift from under the tree, that's where I got my pound puppy (or as my sister and mom remember, me calling it the "pow puppy").

I have seen videos and pictures of the place now, all torn down and falling apart, it is kind of sad to see. Sure the park wasn't anything special, but it was Christmas related, and it being December right now, I can't help but to think about Christmas related things.

Too bad I never went to JuJuBeats when it was held there. But oh well, I still think that commercial will haunt me...
