I guess the good old days of AOL are officially dead, the days when you would have people running bots ONLY to advertise their away time. Now, logging on AOL and going into 'Lobby 1' you get nothing BUT porn bots. I kid you not, it was all nothing but porn bots for about 5 minutes.

Why back in my day, we had people actually chatting and meeting people through AOL chat rooms, in fact that WAS the way to meet new people before you kids got your internet and lolcats. We had to dial up and blah blah blah blah...

Given, I am not much of an electro house head, nor have I ever understood why it became so popular in the recent years, but if any song would make me think otherwise, it would be this song. Normally the original tracks by cosmic gate are the more to my liking than the remixes, and I have been a fan of their hardtrance tracks for number of years. Actually, until I heard their song 'I feel wonderful' which was really just a rip off of one of my personal favorites skydive, by freefall.
Anyway, this track carries a lot of emotion, and has a strong beat to it.

The curse of being a social web addict, I tend to signup and try new things without actually thinking if I might actually use them. This among numerous different sites, including digg, delicious, mybloglog, etc. Not to mention with the constant linking that I have with my blog (and was much worse when my twitter updates were updating my facebook, glad I stopped that)
So does this mean I will stop signing up for websites with fun new services? God no, tis is just my routine of going through and cleaning out the services that I don't use in an attempt to make my presence online only what it would be. Me paranoid? maybe, but as I have mentioned, after finding a post I made in the newsgroups back in 1996 I am a little worried on what exists online. Hell, there's a lot of forum/blog comments that will forever exist unless the website goes down.
I guess that was one of the greatest things I have ever began using in 1997, handles, being able to hide your identity from others with just a simple screen name. Hmmm... I think I am on my fourth one right now.
But I think I am going to wait for Windows 7 Series now...
